<p>Job Duties: Vice President, Financial Crime Controls with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York, develop, recommend, and implement processes and controls to ensure firm and/or business unit compliance with anti-money laundering rules and regulations. Key member of the Financial Crime Compliance Transaction Monitoring team engaged in monitoring and overseeing testing of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering rules to effectively fight financial crime. Providing guidance on compliance issues to relevant teams and ensuring data governance standards and procedures are consistently upheld. Involved in driving initiatives to improve quality of the data, KPIs as well as tracking and reporting results of implementation and analytical team activities. Working with Investigation team to identify the issues and spin projects to optimize the surveillances to mitigate any potential risks. Working with large volumes of data and providing qualitative and quantitative analysis using MS Excel and other dashboards like Tableau, etc. Conduct BAU due diligence of the monthly payments activity to identify gaps in controls as well as any 'red flags'; work on providing remediations and further validations on fixes. Draft investigative reports to document the reviews conducted surrounding potentially suspicious activities. Build and maintain effective partnerships with teams across the company like Engineering, Data Platforms and Investigations among others.</p> <p>Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related Financial Crime Controls role or master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related Financial Crime Controls role; prior experience must include five (5) years with a bachelor's degree or two (2) years with a master's degree with the following: implementing standards, procedures, and rules per Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering laws and regulations to identify and flag suspicious activities; identifying red flags and grouping them into typologies to create logical scenarios to catch suspicious activities; collate large volumes of data and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis using dashboards such as Tableau, Database SQL, and other analytical dashboards; understanding transactional product data elements critical to the financial instrument and the associated data quality monitoring; record-keeping and documentation of findings, analysis, as well as creating Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specification Documents; and implementing various field level and reconciliation tests, improving KPIs, and providing timely summary metrics.</p> <p>Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $160,000 - $225,000.</p> <p>The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., 2025.
