As Director of DC Ecommerce Fulfillment, you'll drive logistics strategy, optimize warehouse performance, and lead end-to-end fulfillment, ensuring products move with precision from cart to customer. This role is at the intersection of operations, innovation, and customer satisfaction.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Lead and own the entire ecommerce fulfillment lifecycle-from order receipt through final mile delivery.</p> <p>Ensure exceptional order accuracy, speed, and delivery performance.</p> <p>Drive warehouse efficiency by developing and executing operational strategies and continuous improvement plans.</p> <p>Prepare and scale operations for increasing ecommerce volume and new business growth.</p> <p>Identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions that boost performance and reduce costs.</p> <p>Plan for seasonal fluctuations and promotional peaks-aligning labor and transportation resources accordingly.</p> <p>Oversee and audit carrier spend and invoice compliance across all ecommerce accounts.</p> <p>Lead parcel invoice validation and approvals.</p> <p>Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate leading technologies to keep us competitive.</p> <p>Collaborate cross-functionally to drive performance, streamline costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.</p> <p>Develop KPIs and foster a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable rates and terms.</p> <p>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards.</p> <p>Own and manage the ecommerce fulfillment budget.</p> <p>What You Bring:</p> <p>5+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment operations, business processes, or program management.</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience (required).</p> <p>MBA or related master's degree (preferred).</p> <p>Hands-on experience managing or scaling ecommerce operations, especially direct-to-consumer.</p> <p>Experience implementing warehouse automation solutions (preferred).</p> <p>Proven track record of driving measurable operational improvements and delivering results.</p> <p>Data-savvy: comfortable using analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.</p> <p>Deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory controls.</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>At Ashley, we're more than a business…we're family. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.</p> <p>Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.</p> <p>Benefits: When you join our family, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs, which include Health, Dental, Vision, Life/Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), Paid Holidays, 80 hours paid vacation, and 40 hours of California Paid Sick Leave.
