Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.</p> <p>Supply Chain Planning Engineer</p> <p>Lafayette, Indiana</p> <p>Relocation Assistance Available</p> <p>The Supply Chain Planning Engineer is responsible for leading Supply Chain readiness for all resourcing activities. This role will also lead projects to support the Supply Chain Planning Strategy.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on supplier resourcing, PFEP and vendor managed inventory to ensure improved order-to-delivery results. </li><li>Incumbent will be the liaison between purchasing and supply chain for all supplier resourcing activities, including supplier onboarding, resource transition, sample orders and resource inventory buffer. </li><li>The incumbent coordinates and manages a performance portfolio for multiple, cross functional work teams deploying the Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the Plan for Every Part and Pull Replenishment methods for a facility. The PFEP process will ensure lead times are accurately aligned and strategic buffer follows EVC process. </li><li>Incumbent is required to work effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams in order to apply the supply chain planning process. </li><li>Responsible for Vendor Managed Inventory compliance and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from college or university related to Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or strong supply chain experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Top Candidates will also have:</p> <ul> <li>Progressively responsible supply chain job experience </li><li>Prior experience as a buyer </li><li>Experience and knowledge about CPS supply chain principles, Supply Chain Planning analytical tools, and inventory management </li><li>Previous experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst or Engineer is a plus </li><li>Ability to thrive in an uncertain environment and work independently with a sense of urgency </li><li>Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems, and the ability to coordinate facility efforts. </li><li>Must possess excellent leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus. </li><li>Must possess extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division. </li><li>Must have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems. </li><li>Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and solid product knowledge </li></ul> <p>What you have:</p> <p>Analytical Thinking: Extensive Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.</p> <p>Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.</p> <p>Project Management: Extensive Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.</p> <p>Logistics Management: Extensive Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.</p> <p>Procurement: Extensive Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business.</p> <p>Supply Chain Management - MFG: Extensive Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Location of this position is in Lafayette, IN </li><li>Relocation assistance is available for this position. </li><li>This position may require up to 25% travel. </li><li>Sponsorship is NOT approved for this position. </li></ul> <p>Summary Pay Range:</p> <p>$95,640.00 - $143,520.00</p> <p>Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
