<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform quality work on conventional operated milling machines, lathes, and surface grinding machines </li><li>Use of Measuring and Test Equipment to ensure all dimensional requirements are met </li><li>Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines </li><li>Interpret and comprehend blueprints, diagrams, & written process instructions </li><li>Work with engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve issues </li><li>Inspect and document machinery for any needed repairs </li><li>Make minor repairs on machinery as needed </li><li>Any other duties as required by the Company </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Ability to comply with Company policies & procedures and important HS&E rules and regulations </li><li>Skilled in computer software (MS Office, Word, Excel and internet navigation) </li><li>Strong ability to operate manual machine shop equipment, lathes, mills EDM, as well as CNC machines </li><li>Knowledge of machine shop theory, shop mathematics and layout techniques </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication (English) as per FAA regulations </li><li>Skilled in the use of dimensional measuring equipment </li><li>Ability to machine and measure to close tolerances (.0002") as required </li><li>Interpret complex blueprint specifications and charts </li><li>Ability to follow work orders and engineering instructions (as needed) in accordance with ASME Y14.5 </li><li>Operate well within a diverse team environment as well as ability to work independently </li><li>Provide guidance to peers to resolve repair/overhaul problems </li><li>Multitask to meet deadlines and demands in a time efficient manner </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>2 - 4 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>College or vocational high school education in machining and machining practices </li><li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent </li><li>Certificate of completion of college or high school machining courses. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Professional appearance and demeanor </li><li>Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch) </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li><li>Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & 401 K Plan </li><li>Paid Time Off & Holidays </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Extra money in your paycheck - Employee Referral Bonus </li><li>Personal Development & Career Succession Planning </li><li>Company sponsored Perks & Discount programs </li></ul>
