At NYSTEC, we know that we succeed when our employees flourish personally and professionally.</p> <p>About the Internship Experience:</p> <p>As a NYSTEC intern, you will work with internal and external clients under the direction of an assigned mentor. You will learn consulting competencies, such as industry understanding, client/business perspective, leadership, resource management, opportunity development, consulting business knowledge, partnering and networking, personal interaction, managing quality, business ethics, and continued learning and development.</p> <p>As an intern in the Change Management and Learning Development practice, your day-to-day role will be helping with advancing service offerings at NYSTEC, under the direction of experienced change management and learning development specialists.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the development and organization of change management and learning resources. </li><li>Support the creation and formatting of training materials, job aids, and presentations. </li><li>Help analyze survey data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of change and learning initiatives. </li><li>Assist with internal documentation, knowledge management, and process improvement efforts. </li><li>Support senior team members in drafting reports, summaries, and internal communications. </li><li>Assist in maintaining project tracking tools and documentation. </li><li>Organize and update templates, style guides, and other standard materials for team use. </li><li>Help review and edit learning content to ensure clarity and consistency. </li><li>Provide behind-the-scenes support for workshops, webinars, and meetings. </li><li>Assist in monitoring and maintaining internal resource libraries and repositories. </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong interest in change management, learning development, and organizational effectiveness. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint). </li><li>Strong written communication skills for documentation and content support. </li><li>Ability to work independently while taking direction from senior team members. </li><li>Willingness to learn and take on hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter's Change Model) is a plus but not required. </li></ul> <p>Experience with instructional design tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia) is a plus but not required.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>This program seeks undergraduate and graduate students with exceptional technical and research skills, combined with strong leadership potential. We look for diverse educational and professional experience.</p> <p>Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a concentration in business, project management, technology, or a related field.</p> <p>The NYSTEC Internship Program for summer 2024 will run from May 12 - August 1. The typical schedule will be during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Specific hours can be negotiated based on the intern's availability.
