<p>Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsible for all Audiology Testing in the UMG Greenville ENT Facility. Responsible for the Diagnostic Testing on ENT Patients to determine extent of hearing capability or disability. Also Assist with the Documentation and Patient Interaction with Regards to Diagnostic Testing, Assessment and Plan. Complete Documentation and Proper Encounter Forms to assure Correct and Prompt billings.</p> <p>Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Examine patients who have conditions related to the outer, middle, or inner ear. </li><li>Assess the results of the examination and diagnose problems efficiently and accurately. </li><li>Create appropriate and thorough treatment plans to meet patients' goals </li><li>Proficient with hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. </li><li>Counsel patients and their families on test results, recommendations, communication strategies, and hearing loss prevention. </li><li>Evaluate patients regularly to monitor their condition and modify treatment plans as needed. </li><li>Record patient progress and complete reports in a timely manner. </li><li>Research the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders when applicable. </li><li>Educate patients on ways to prevent hearing loss </li><li>Exercises sound clinical judgment in all issue of healthcare including proper referrals and follow-up care. </li><li>Upholds the standard of professionalism and remained dedicated to clinical excellence. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations. </li><li>Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by hospital or clinical requirements. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <p>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <p>Doctorate - Audiology</p> <p>Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses</p> <p>LICENSED AUDIOLOGIST - C050</p> <p>Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)</p> <p>Au.D South Carolina state board of Labor, Licensing, and Regulations</p> <p>Other Required Experience</p> <p>Fellows of the American Academy of Audiology - Preferred</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Patewood Outpt Ctr/Med Offices</p> <p>Facility</p> <p>2479 ENT - 200 Patewood</p> <p>Department</p> <p>24791000 ENT - 200 Patewood-Practice Operations</p> <p>Share your talent with us!
