<p>We are looking for dynamic individuals to lead early learning programs at our Kidz Lodge Early Learning Center. These early learning childcare positions support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. These roles help to create a positive learning environment, nurture relationships, and support the potential of all children at site as part of the overall daycare experience.</p> <p>Current Full Time Openings:</p> <ul> <li>Lead Teachers </li><li>Assistant Teachers </li><li>Daycare Receptionist </li></ul> <p>Early Learning childcare programs rooms are categorized into:</p> <ul> <li>INFANT (6 weeks - 18 months) </li><li>TODDLER (18 - 36 months) </li><li>PRESCHOOL (3 - 4 years old) </li></ul> <p>THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL DAYCARE POSITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Day 1 of Employment: Completed Physical and TB Test (within the last year) </li><li>Day 30 of Employment: Completed CPR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention </li><li>Day 90 of Employment: Completed New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, NYS OCFS Health & Safety and ALICE (Active Shooter). </li><li>Day 180 of Employment: Completed 15 hours of childcare related training (then 15 hours annually) </li></ul> <p>DAYCARE RECEPTIONIST - $15.50 PER HOUR - GREET VISITORS, MANAGE INCOMING CALLS, GENERAL SECRETARIAL AND CLERICAL DUTIES</p> <p>REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): HS Diploma or transcripts, AND Resume (w/ALL supervisory & childcare experience)</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED is required. </li><li>Two years prior work experience in an office environment, with computer experience (Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook) and general typing skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills. </li><li>Must place a high priority on confidentiality, attention to detail communication and professional demeanor. </li><li>Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred. </li><li>Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood borne Pathogens to be completed within 30 days of hire. </li><li>Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds. </li></ul> <p>LEAD TEACHER - $18.94 PER HOUR - MANAGES THE ASSIGNED CLASSROOM</p> <p>REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): College degree/Transcripts, OR Child Development Credential, AND Resume (w/ALL supervisory & childcare experience)</p> <ul> <li>AAS in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field with no prior experience OR Child Development Associate Credential WITH one (1) year prior experience OR 9 college credits in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field WITH two (2) years direct experience working with children under the age of 13. </li><li>Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities. </li><li>Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred. </li><li>Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds. </li></ul> <p>ASSISTANT TEACHER - $15.90 PER HOUR - LEADS CLASSROOM ACTIVITES & SUPPORTS TEACHER</p> <p>REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): College degree/Transcripts, OR HS Diploma/GED AND Resume (w/ALL childcare experience)</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age. </li><li>High School Diploma/GED required. </li><li>Two (2) years direct experience with children under age 13 required. </li></ul> <p>Full Time Benefits - include Free family membership, Health, Dental, a generous PTO Plan, and more!</p> <p>ALL EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS MUST BE UPLOADED IN DOCUMENTS SECTION OF YOUR PRESENCE (PROFILE) BEFORE AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT CAN BE EXTENDED.</p> <p>#ZR</p>
