We build effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the College by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance to all and maintain an environment that is welcoming to persons of all backgrounds, nationalities, and roles.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Salary: Compensation is approximately $7,000 per six month period.</p> <p>Hours: 5-7 approximately hours per week</p> <ul> <li>In collaboration with the dean, develop goals and objectives for the Graduate Program and assist with communication, implementation, and achievement of these goals. </li><li>Collaborate with graduate staff and admissions on student recruitment and review applications for admissions. </li><li>Create a ranked list of accepted students for scholarship and assistantship consideration. Support the graduate office in completion of Program Review, Curriculum Review, and internal program evaluation and implement recommendations on an as needed basis </li><li>Assist in recruitment, hiring, orientation, and evaluation of part-time faculty, in consultation with the Dean. </li><li>Provide leadership in preparation and updates of course outlines and catalog information. </li><li>Assist in the development of curriculum and special programming when needed. </li><li>Support Registrar's Office and grad programs Program staff in preparing class schedules for the program. </li><li>Attend monthly Program Directors meetings with the Dean and graduate staff. </li><li>Work with grad programs Program staff to advise students in course registration, progression in the program, and professional development. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Terminal Degree </li><li>At least three years teaching experience at the college or graduate level </li><li>Experience with college level administrative duties including advising, admissions, course scheduling and managing part time faculty </li><li>Established professional practice </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Please note MassArt:</p> <ul> <li>Does not support employment-based visa sponsorship or non-student exchange visitor visa sponsorship. </li><li>Is not an E-Verify institution. </li></ul> <p>Selected candidates must be eligible to work in the US at the time of employment, complete all onboarding tasks including a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background review and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US by completing the Form 19, Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.</p> <p>You are required to show proof of your identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of the start of your employment.
