<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Exercise Physiologist Samaritan Hospital - Albany Memorial Campus</p> <p>Full Time Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life converge </li><li>Advancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development </li></ul> <p>What you will do:</p> <p>Provide direct patient care to individuals participating in the CardioPulmonary Rehab and Wellness programs at both Albany and Troy locations.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans. </li><li>Provide patient education </li><li>Develop and lead exercise classes </li><li>Assist patients with equipment and ensure safety </li><li>Assess and reassess patient to achieve both program and personal goals </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or kinesiology. </li><li>Preferred certification by the American Society of Exercise Physiologists. </li><li>ACSM-EP, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist </li><li>ACSM-CEP, ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist </li><li>BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation certification required within 1 year of hire. </li><li>Fun personality and strong desire to motivate others. </li><li>Previous rehab experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.85</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
