Barton Campus</p> <p>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>The Greenville Technical College English department in the School of Arts & Sciences invites applications for Instructors/Assistant Professor.</p> <p>The department serves approximately 7,000 students in an academic year. Currently the department employs 20 full-time faculty and 16 part-time instructors. The English department is fully committed to offering high quality education in composition courses and business writing, as well as a variety of literature courses including American and British literature, world and minority literature, short fiction, children's and women's studies, and creative writing.</p> <p>The department offers English Courses and also participates in the Early College Program, which provides high school students access to college courses.</p> <p>In this challenging role, you will support the English Department at Greenville Technical College.
