<p>Auburn Career Center</p> <p>Superintendent Position Available</p> <p>The Auburn Career Center in Lake County, Ohio is seeking applicants for the position of Superintendent. The successful candidate will possess the following experiences and skills:</p> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Current State of Ohio Superintendent license </li><li>Successful experience in career and technical education leadership position </li><li>Visionary educational leader that promotes the pursuit of educational excellence </li><li>Ability to engage business communities, local and state politicians, and area school districts in promoting the opportunities available to area students </li><li>Proven ability to develop and nurture effective professional relationships with all employees </li><li>High level of professional integrity and possessing a strong work ethic </li><li>Successful experience as an innovator in providing career and technical educational opportunities </li><li>Successful experience with strategic planning and execution </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Successful experience as a Ohio school superintendent </li><li>Successful experience in expanding capacity and program offerings </li><li>Knowledge of Ohio Joint Vocational School funding </li><li>Successful experience in collective bargaining </li></ul> <p>Compensation and employment terms:</p> <p>The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract.
