<p>Position Title Graduate Assistant, Cheer and STUNT - Athletics Job Description</p> <p>Ashland University is a NCAA Division II institution that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC). The university is located midway between Cleveland and Columbus off of Interstate 71. Ashland University offers 24 varsity sports and features over 750 student-athletes.</p> <p>Ashland University Cheer and STUNT seek a highly motivated individual that supports the university's mission rooted in its Christian heritage to provide a transformative learning experience, shaping graduates who work, serve and lead with integrity. This position will report to the head cheer and STUNT coach and the Director of Athletics.</p> <ul> <li>This position will assist in coaching student-athletes on a daily basis. This includes planning and implementing practices, team travel and meals, monitoring student-athlete progress and other duties as assigned. </li><li>This position requires work hours outside of the normal work week; including evening and weekend hours. This is a ten-(10) month contract, August through May, with opportunity for renewal after the first year. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree from a college or university is required. </li><li>Acceptance into Ashland University's graduate program is required. </li><li>Candidates should have previous experience playing collegiate STUNT and cheering at the collegiate level. </li><li>This position requires the ability to work well in one-on-one and small group settings. </li><li>The ability to work evenings and weekends is required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Anticipated Start Date of New Hire 08/04/2025 Anticipated Number of Hours Working per Week 20 Shift Required?
