This position is open to qualified persons who are eligible for the 55-a Program. For detailed information regarding the 55-a Program, please visit the following link https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dcas/employment/55-a-program.page</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>$66,545.00 - $70,075.00</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>This position will assist in investigating all railcar safety-related incidents in order to make recommendations and develop action plans to preclude their recurrence including modifications to safety/work procedures and altering of railcar/safety operations. This position will also assist in conducting track testing of existing railcar fleet to assure NYCT performance criteria is satisfied and meet reliability, maintainability, safety requirements for internal/external customers.
