<p>Req Id: 34628</p> <p>Job Title: Staff Therapist - College of Veterinary Medicine</p> <p>City: West Lafayette</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Persons in the Staff Therapist role will need to bring progressive and robust generalist clinical skills/experience. This position will serve as an embedded staff therapist within the College of Veterinary Medicine. The staff therapist will serve as a resource for students, trainees, faculty, and staff in the College of Vet Med. They will provide therapy services via a variety of modalities to Vet Med students and trainees affiliated with the college. Staff contributes to clinical service delivery through the provision of individual, couples, and group therapy; on-call/walk-in services; triage; and substance use, abuse, and dependence services. Staff also provide outreach and consultation to students, trainees, faculty, and staff. Services will include providing workshops and trainings to college community to support mental health and well-being priorities for the college. Two evenings per week will be required (with commensurate mornings off) to support Vet Med initiatives and increase accessibility of services.
