The Engineering Manager role within the OddsFactory team is a cornerstone of this vision. You'll drive solutions that elevate the fan experience while upholding the excellence Fanatics is known for.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead your team in exploring and applying new technologies and practices, cultivating a culture of innovation and experimentation to deliver an exceptional fan experience. </li><li>Collaborate closely with Product Management, Quants, and other engineering leaders to develop cohesive, user-first solutions aligned with Fanatics' strategic objectives. </li><li>Use data and metrics to guide your team's decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals. </li><li>Champion a metrics-driven culture focused on measurable impact and continuous improvement. </li><li>Invest in the growth and success of your team-offer mentorship, support career development, and help shape the next generation of leaders. </li><li>Oversee the development of scalable, reliable systems while actively reducing technical debt and improving system performance. </li><li>Build strong cross-functional partnerships to influence product strategy and technical direction at scale. </li><li>Communicate complex technical ideas and business updates with clarity and confidence to stakeholders and executives. </li><li>Stay on top of industry trends and best practices-bring fresh ideas that help elevate team performance and drive results. </li><li>Be open to occasional travel for offsites, events, or key collaboration sessions. (We're happy to accommodate travel needs or restrictions.) </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in engineering leadership, with a strong ability to mentor, grow talent, and inspire technical excellence. </li><li>7+ years of experience in software development, particularly with .NET/C# or similar technologies. </li><li>3+ years of experience designing cloud-native systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP). </li><li>Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum, with the agility to adapt in a fast-evolving environment. </li><li>A history of successfully delivering complex, scalable solutions with a focus on customer experience. </li><li>Positive, flexible mindset with a readiness to take on new challenges. </li><li>Strong results orientation, backed by data and outcomes. </li><li>Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Computer Science or similar (or equivalent experience). </li><li>Experience leading distributed or remote teams. </li><li>Passion for sports and/or the sports betting industry. </li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Design teams. </li><li>Start-up or high-growth environment experience, with a bias toward rapid learning and iteration. </li><li>Strong team collaboration mindset and passion for working in a supportive, fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>If you possess some of these skills but not all of them, we still encourage you to apply!</p> <p>The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.</p> <ul> <li>Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $144,000 to $282,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
