In our daily work, we enable our clients to transform their organization in order to win globally.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage in a Client Focus role within the Geopolitics & Trade Impact team of BCG's Global Advantage Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals by providing deep insights and relevant analysis across international relations, trade policy, geopolitics dynamics, and investment advisory affairs, especially with a focus on international markets.</p> <p>You will leverage trade analytics skillsets, geopolitics insights, and macroeconomic data from leading sources (e.g., WTIS, UNComtrade, IHS, Oxford Economics, OECD, IMF, World Bank) to develop solutions. Your understanding of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Digital Economy Agreements (DEAs), tariff structures, HS classifications, and related nomenclature will enable strong impact delivery.</p> <p>You will support commercialization efforts for the Geopolitics & Trade Impact topic by contributing insights based on key stakeholder trends and developments, helping craft proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials. Familiarity and prior experience across multiple markets and a deep understanding of multiple political, economic, social, and cultural contexts are expected.</p> <p>You will also contribute to developing intellectual property and assets for the business, and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues. Interest and experience in quantitative skills, including AI usage and tools, would be a strong plus.</p> <p>Occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements and design/develop solutions.</p> <p>YOU'RE GOOD AT</p> <ul> <li>Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in your area of expertise. </li><li>Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual and across time zones. </li><li>Providing credible and confident communication with case teams and clients. </li><li>Creating client-ready materials such as reports and presentations (consulting or advisory background preferred). </li><li>Navigating complexity and ambiguity with flexibility, curiosity, and creativity. </li><li>Generating deep insights into trade, investment, and geopolitical developments. </li><li>Building strong working relationships with global teams and multi-agency project teams. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of consulting experience in relevant sector/topic required; candidates with consulting/advisory experience strongly preferred. </li><li>In lieu of consulting experience, 3-4+ years minimum of industry experience required; 4-6+ years strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong trade analytics and geopolitical insights experience/background/interest for minimum 3-4 years. </li><li>Deep familiarity with key macroeconomic and trade data platforms (e.g., WTIS, UNComtrade, IHS, Oxford Economics, OECD, IMF/WB). </li><li>Deep understanding of trade policy concepts and terminology (FTA/DEA, HS classification, tariffs, etc.). </li><li>Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred). </li><li>Strong quantitative skills, with an interest and/or experience in AI tools a significant advantage. </li><li>Broad knowledge of North American and global political, economic, and cultural contexts. </li><li>Fluency in English required; additional proficiency in another regionally relevant language is a strong plus but not necessary. </li><li>Strong business acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Who You'll Work With</p> <p>As a Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage, you will work face to face with clients and with BCG Project Leaders, Associates and Consultants. In the period between cases, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. Our team is made up a diverse pool of BCG Vantage positions that allow us to pursue exciting, innovative BCG Vantage careers.</p> <p>Additional info</p> <p>Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.</p> <p>We expect total annualized compensation for NYC & Washington DC employees to be approximately the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Base salary between $115,700 - $119,500; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level</p> </li><li> <p>Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-24%</p> </li><li> <p>5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service.
