In this role, you will participate in financial performance management initiatives alongside the Finance Director and leadership team, ensuring proper department operations, organization, financial strength and problem reconciliations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to further enhance your skills, build a strong team and thrive in an innovative healthcare setting.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Seeking candidates who reside in the greater Northeast OH only!</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with the Finance Director in all financial matters and provide analyses of business plans and initiatives. </li><li>Identify benchmarks in financial performance, hospital throughput, cost per case, length of stay and productivity metrics. </li><li>Assist in preparation of financial presentations to review operating performance. </li><li>Assist the Finance Director in business operations, including financial reporting, billing and reimbursement, informatics and outside strategic business ventures. </li><li>Assist in developing financial strategic business plans. </li><li>Work with the Finance Director to prepare for the business review meetings and provide analysis and interpretation regarding business plans, new staff recruitment, variance analysis and fete requests. </li><li>Work with the revenue cycle staff to ensure maximum reimbursement and adherence to revenue cycle related policies. </li><li>Establish work plan and review activity of the reimbursement staff. </li><li>Work with the Finance Director on the outlook and annual budget cycle including budget spreads, budget reconciliation, capital budget, business plans and any other budget-related responsibilities. </li><li>Support the Finance Director with the treasury and research budget preparation. </li><li>Ensure all tax deposits are balanced and funded for each payroll. </li><li>Balance all quarter end/year end reporting. </li><li>Work with third-party tax service to ensure all notices are responded to timely and accurately. </li><li>Ensure payroll tax accuracy and maintain tax compliance for all jurisdictions. </li><li>Partner with other areas in department and organization on projects involving payroll tax. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Four to five years of professional and functionally relevant experience inclusive of demonstrated leadership (lead or coordinator role) of people or processes, projects, or functions. </li><li>In lieu of a degree, extensive experience and or certifications may be considered </li><li>Experience with income statement and balance sheet financial analysis </li><li>Experience with service line data </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) </li><li>Master's Degree </li><li>Experience with multi-state and local taxes </li><li>Experience with Workday and ADP Smart Compliance </li><li>In-depth knowledge of CCF structure, corporate timelines and processes </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
