Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Organizes personnel assignments and training to meet daily customer production schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirements </li><li>Perform daily employee performance & attendance management actions </li><li>Assist in developing and orientate new team members </li><li>Drive and lead organizational strategic imperatives and initiatives </li><li>Implement improvement ideas by leveraging team members feedback and suggestions on opportunities </li><li>Assist in developing a culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost </li><li>Communicate relevant business information, company policies, and business updates to team members </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and organizational stakeholders </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Associate Degree Required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted in place of the degree requirement.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>5+ Years relevant experience in manufacturing with at least 2+ years of leadership experience</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Behavioral-based safety </li><li>ISO Standards/Quality Management System </li><li>OSHA and Environmental standards </li><li>Performance Management </li><li>Operational Excellence / Lean / Continuous Improvement </li><li>Working knowledge of DMAIC methodology </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication </li><li>Advanced Leadership and Team Management skills </li><li>Critical Thinking - Problem Solving Process / A3 / 8D / 5Why </li><li>Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint) </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>Performing tasks with team members which include lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs</p>
