<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Manages wound care nurse consults, pressure injury prevention and care, and education related to skin care and pressure injuries, continuing education for all levels of staff in the wound care unit. Provides support for clinical practice at point of care. Role models patient care practices.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor s degree in Nursing required, </li><li>Master s Degree in Nursing preferred, </li><li>Minimum of three years experience in wound care </li><li>National Wound/Ostomy Certification required </li><li>Knowledge of principles of adult learning </li><li>Experience using an electronic health record, preferably Epic </li><li>Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively </li><li>Competent in use of all Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>AHA BLS and ACLS Provider required </li><li>Current New Jersey RN license </li></ul> <p>Schedule requirements:</p> <p>PT day shift 24 hours per week</p> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
