<p>Position Overview: Berlin-Boylston Regional Middle High School is seeking a dynamic and organized Athletic Director to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the school's athletic programs. This stipend position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and compliant athletic experience for students in grades 6-12.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee all interscholastic and intramural athletic programs.</p> <p>Ensure compliance with MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association) rules, district policies, and school regulations.</p> <p>Coordinate the scheduling of practices, games, officials, and transportation.</p> <p>Serve as the primary liaison between coaches, students, parents, administration, and community partners.</p> <p>Recruit, support, and evaluate coaches in collaboration with school administration.</p> <p>Oversee the athletic budget, uniforms, and equipment purchasing and inventory.</p> <p>Promote good sportsmanship, academic achievement, and student well-being in all athletic activities.</p> <p>Collaborate with the school nurse and staff to ensure student-athlete physicals and medical forms are current.</p> <p>Communicate effectively regarding athletic events, cancellations, and other updates through school-approved platforms.</p> <p>Organize seasonal sports banquets and awards in collaboration with coaches and the Booster Club.</p> <p>Maintain regular communication with local newspapers and media outlets to share athletic schedules, events, and student-athlete accomplishments, promoting the visibility and success of school athletics.</p>
