A project superintendent's role is to effectively monitor, direct, coordinate, and maintain full control of all field matters. To work as a team with all project managers, architects, engineers, Inspectors, to an effective management team to complete the projects assigned to them in budget and on schedule. In addition to responsibilities of field operations, assist in training, mentoring, and developing new superintendents. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Review and be familiar with all plans, contract documents, specifications, shop drawings, scopes of work and submittals to identifying and clarifying any discrepancies</p> <p>Help develop the overall master schedule with the project manager prior to construction and manage that schedule throughout the project including the creation and maintenance of 2 week look-ahead schedules</p> <p>Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project</p> <p>Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor</p> <p>Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to beginning each phase of work</p> <p>Direct field operations to operate according to the plans and specification in an efficient and professional manner</p> <p>Manage, supervise, and inspect all work performed on site</p> <p>Conduct weekly job site meetings to review job progress, schedules, and job site safety</p> <p>Participate in progress meetings with the team and clients</p> <p>Follow up on RFls, submittals, construction drawings</p> <p>Schedule all required inspections from local authorities</p> <p>Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly</p> <p>Manage any rapid changes in schedule, design and tight deadlines</p> <p>Maintain daily and weekly reports</p> <p>Administering the safety program for the project</p> <p>Conducting and ensuring quality control in accordance with the plans and specification</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Must have a Valid and Current State Journeyman Electrical License to be considered</p> <p>This is a traveling position.
