<p>Machine Operator Position Summary:</p> <p>This position is responsible for operating a machine to ensure efficient equipment operation and production of high-quality products.</p> <p>Second Shift 2:00 pm -10:30 pm</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices </li><li>Perform general set-up of machines </li><li>Prepare materials for production process </li><li>Load and unload material from machine </li><li>Assist in monitoring operation of machine </li><li>Track and label finished products manually and electronically </li><li>Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues </li><li>Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperatures</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Minimum High School diploma or GED</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.</p> <p>This role requires basic computer proficiencies, multi-task effectively, sharp attention to detail, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.</p> <p>Other:</p> <p>Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
