<p>Foothills at Red Oak Recovery (Ellenboro, NC) serves 14-year-old to 17-year-old male adolescents and their families. Our program is located on a 94-acre working horse farm in Ellenboro, NC to help promote growth, reflection, and healing for those experiencing the results of trauma. Our licensed clinical team and extensive range of therapies provides the support and education young teens need to put themselves back on the right path.</p> <p>We are seeking a Family Therapist for our campus. This role will provide education and support for families of clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders including but not limited to assessment, planning, individual and family Support, and family education. Our therapists have the unique opportunity to integrate their expertise in various modalities within our experiential wilderness-based programming. Our clients experience the outdoors through hiking, backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, camping, ropes courses, equine programming, and more.</p> <p>This position is located onsite in Ellenboro, NC. Our campus spans close to 100 acres of agricultural farmland and rolling mountains giving us the unique opportunity to offer programming such as equine and therapeutic animal therapies, outdoor recreation, wood working, gardening, and wholistic therapy methods. The quaint town of Ellenboro is located an about an hour from the Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville and Spartanburg areas.</p> <p>For more information, please visit our website, www.foothillsatredoak.com</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Carry an active assigned caseload</p> <p>Develop and maintain relationships with clients and families on assigned caseload</p> <p>Complete a thorough assessment of the family system and prescribe a documented growth plan and upload to EMR</p> <p>Conduct family education and support phone calls weekly with each client on caseload</p> <p>Complete weekly progress note uploaded to EMR</p> <p>Provide Psycho-educational groups to clients</p> <p>Attend weekly clinical meeting on campus</p> <p>Collaborate with clinical director and each primary therapist of your caseload on a weekly basis, ensuring optimum outcomes for client</p> <p>Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals</p> <p>Co-facilitate multifamily workshops to educate families, assist families in building healthy relationships and developing healthy communication skills</p> <p>Develop and implement webinars as educational tools for family members</p> <p>Co-facilitate client graduations on campus when client family is present for graduation.</p> <p>Provide crisis intervention/support to families</p> <p>Facilitate weekly family support calls</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Master's degree in human service field</p> <p>Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, LCAS, LMFT or license eligible</p> <p>Experience working with clients and families in substance abuse and mental health treatment</p> <p>Experience providing education on the topics of substance abuse and mental health</p> <p>Experience in facilitating group therapy</p> <p>Experience with experiential therapy</p> <p>Current CPR/AED/Basic First Aid certification (training will be provided)</p> <p>Current Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (training will be provided)</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Dual licensed in both addiction and mental health treatment (or actively pursuing licensure in both)</p> <p>Experience working with young adults, preferably in an eco-therapeutic setting</p> <p>Employee Benefits:</p> <p>Medical Insurance with Telemedicine options available to full-time employees after 30 days</p> <p>Vision & Dental insurance available to full-time employees after 30 days</p> <p>Voluntary Accident Coverage, Critical Illness Coverage and Hospital Indemnity Insurance options</p> <p>Retirement 401k</p> <p>Employee provided Life Insurance and Voluntary Life Insurance options</p> <p>Employee Assistance Program provided to promote employee wellness and a variety of services</p> <p>Desirable PTO & SICK plan</p> <p>Company paid professional development and training</p> <p>Access to on-site Gym/Weight Room while on breaks</p> <p>Employee discounts through local retailers</p> <p>Red Oak Recovery does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
