<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>This position is located at: Greater Greenville Mental Health Center</p> <p>124 Mallard Street</p> <p>Greenville, SC 29601</p> <p>Conducts in-depth assessments, plans treatment programs, and performs psychotherapy as well as crisis services to adolescents and their families, who are risk of disrupting their home placement or school placement, as part of the MDFT Program. Employee must provide all services and documentation in compliance with SCDMH, CARF, GMHC, Quality Assurance, Transcultural and Productivity Standards, Policies and Procedures. Available on a 24/7, as-needed basis, to clients and their families as well as additional DJJ/MDFT staff.</p> <p>Responsible for supervising and training all MDFT therapists, act as a consultant with the MDFT state advisor and Department of Juvenile Justice. Trains staff in the development of intensive home intervention plans using the MDFT model, and acts as a consultant to DJJ, DSS, Greenville County School District, and other community agencies as they relate to caseload. Is also responsible for includig completing of the EPMS for employees under supervision.</p> <p>Adheres to all corporate compliance, outcome evaluation, research and continuity of care policies and procedures. Maintains documentation of clinical services in accordance with state/center/quality assurance standards.</p> <p>Will report to MDFT co-ordinator, on a minimum weekly basis, to co-ordinate MDFT referrals and dispersement of clients.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.</p> <p>Must have one year of experience working in a MDFT Program.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>NOTE: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>The South Carolina Department of Mental Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Agency. This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
