The candidate may fulfill roles in various settings including resource, in-class resource, LLD, and/or facilitate a consultative model.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>NJ Teacher of English Certification and NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement or New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Certification </li><li>Experience working in both inclusion and resource settings and working with special education students in grades 9-12 </li><li>Knowledgeable about progress monitoring of goals and objectives, writing PLAAFPs, and overall IEP compliance </li><li>Skilled in strategic instruction in the NJ Student Learning Standards for English </li><li>Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Self-motivated in his/her pursuit of professional growth </li></ul> <p>Start Date: August 27, 2025 plus 3 days of New Teacher Orientation</p> <p>Working Conditions: 10 month, full-time, tenure-track position, salary as per negotiated contract with benefits</p> <p>Application and Selection Procedure:</p> <p>To apply for this position, please go to http://www.ridgewood.k12.nj.us/ and click on the JOB OPPORTUNITIES link to complete the application process.
