<p>Job Advertisement</p> <p>The City of Keene is accepting applications for a part-time Litter Control/Groundskeeping Attendant! This contract position located at the Solid Waste Facility offers a pay range of $17.18- $20.15 per hour 20 hours per week with a Monday - Friday schedule. Duties are varied and will include but not be limited to sorting recyclables on the sorting line; policing the grounds of the Solid Waste Facility including inside the building for litter; sweeping; vacuuming; dusting; organizing and tidying. Light landscape work may include mowing trimming brush cutting weeding and planting. This position requires frequent public contact so we're looking for someone who has a pleasant demeanor and who enjoys interacting with others. Other duties vary depending on season: light landscape work such as mowing; trimming; brush cutting; weeding; and planting; minor snow removal from various entrances to the facility when needed. Position requires frequent public contact.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Applicants must be have a friendly demeanor and enjoy interacting with people; be able to work well independently; and be willing and able to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Regularly required to stand; talk; and hear.
