Applying systems engineering expertise to develop optimum design solutions that satisfy the customer whilst retaining commercial viability</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Specifically describe the essential duties and responsibilities in order of estimated percentage of time that is spent on each). </li></ol> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>% of</p> <p>Time</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Conducts specification reviews, development program timelines and reports,</p> <p>design reviews, specifications, design documents, wiring diagrams, user guides, work instructions, test plans, test procedures and technical reports.</p> <p>35</p> <p>2.</p> <p>Liaison with internal and external customers and suppliers to assist in defining specifications and system architecture.</p> <p>10</p> <p>3.</p> <p>Liaison with Civil Authorities to ensure certification requirements are met.</p> <p>5</p> <p>4.</p> <p>Responding to engineering issues affecting aircraft operation and support, including in-service.</p> <p>5</p> <p>5.</p> <p>Identifying improvements to new installations that will improve customer satisfaction and address issues.</p> <p>5</p> <p>6.</p> <p>Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of</p> <p>new completions and modifications.</p> <p>5</p> <p>7.</p> <p>Take responsibility for the qualification/certification of new systems or modification.</p> <p>5</p> <p>8.</p> <p>Support to the Bid phase producing designs preparing systems trade studies, identifying costs and impacts.</p> <p>10</p> <p>9.</p> <p>Interface with the customer on all aspects of the system design and verification</p> <p>5</p> <p>10.</p> <p>Preparation of Project Plans for Hanger Aircraft and supporting aircraft tests planning and Plan updates</p> <p>10</p> <p>11.</p> <p>Support to Hanger fault investigations</p> <p>5</p> <p>TOTAL:</p> <p>100%</p> <ul> <li>Qualifications for Position: </li></ul> <p>A. Education</p> <p>Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar</p> <p>B. Experience</p> <p>Minimum of 6+years of experience design and development and testing of integrated or non</p> <p>integrated systems for aerospace use</p> <p>C. Competencies & Attributes</p> <p>1.</p> <p>Experience in design, repair and analysis of electrical systems Solid understanding of electronic circuit technology (analog and digital)</p> <p>2.</p> <p>Plans, organizes and controls his/her activities to ensure on-time delivery and the quality of their output.</p> <p>3.</p> <p>Working knowledge of FAA regulations Part 27 and 29.</p> <p>4.</p> <p>Strong written, PC, and oral communication skills.</p> <p>5.</p> <p>Ability to liaise with others to meet deadlines</p> <p>6.</p> <p>Ability to work in a team environment Good interpersonal skills, team player, enthusiastic, sense of</p> <p>humor</p> <p>7.</p> <p>Able to work with a high degree of personal autonomy</p> <p>8.</p> <p>Knowledge of Italian a plus.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disability</p>
