Provides and coordinates nursing care of patients within the Radiology Department with the goal of attaining, maintaining, and restoring optimum health. Assists with exams, procedures, and treatment. Administers medications when ordered. Monitors condition and status of patient before, during, and after procedures. Provides patient education and acts as liaison for patients and their families using the Interdisciplinary Care Model.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Formal Education Required:</p> <p>a. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)</p> <ul> <li>Applicants with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment </li></ul> <p>b. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)</p> <p>c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio</p> <ul> <li>BLS certified </li><li>ACLS certification </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training:</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years relevant clinical experience for the following relevant areas: nuclear medicine-critical care nursing, radiation therapy-oncology, Special procedures-surgical, ER, ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, SCVICU, or other applicable experience preferred </li><li>Competent in administration of moderate to conscious sedation preferred </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to multi-task in a customer-focused organization </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$34.62/hr - $54.20/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
