While you may not interact with patients directly, your efforts will leave a positive, lasting impression - from the moment they enter the facility to the time they return home.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works days from 6:00AM - 2:30PM or 7:00AM - 3:30PM, with on-call requirements.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide routine and as needed clinical engineering services (repair, maintenance, relocation, installation, etc.) for equipment. </li><li>Maintain documentation of equipment, inventory, service and repairs. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining medical equipment or equipment in a mechanical or electrical technician field OR Associate's Degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology OR equivalent specialized or military training. </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) or Biomedical Engineering Technologist (BMET) </li><li>Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Technology </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
