<p>We are seeking an EOF Student Engagement Assistant who will report to the Senior Counselor. This person will supply student-facing and administrative support to facilitate effective and efficient daily office operations and the overall success of EOF's Counseling program efforts.</p> <p>This is a part-time, hourly position.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the development, administration, and evaluation of student outreach and retention efforts. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of student progress and interactions. </li><li>Develops programming and provides resources to students in support of their academic progress and career development. </li><li>Complete various tasks associated with program event preparation. </li><li>Develop program promotional material for events and student outreach. </li><li>Provide support for PCCC programming and recruitment event as necessary. </li><li>Communicate regularly and professionally with assigned students and help grow their awareness of opportunities, policies, and support services. </li><li>Participate in orientation, training, professional development workshops, and other meetings as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Education, Humanities, Liberal Arts, or related field. </li><li>Experience in higher education setting working with students in person and virtually. </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively verbally. in writing, and in interpersonal relationships, as part of an administrate team. </li><li>Must be very organized, detail oriented and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism. </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Suite and Zoom. </li><li>Ability to manage a variety of priorities. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be a required for the selected candidate.</p> <p>Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $16-$17.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.) </li><li>Employee Assistance Program provides free, confidential, limited counseling services, work-life assistance, legal and financial guidance. </li><li>Commuter Benefits: Free parking access is provided on site.
