Schedules patient referral appointments, verifies hospitalization insurance coverage, and provides back-up support for reception check-in and telephone.</p> <p>High school graduate is the minimum education level accepted. Medical Assistant, Medical Office or Medical Billing, classes preferred</p> <p>At least two years of medical office experience required. Of which at least one year of experience in insurance verification, referrals and/or medical billing.</p> <p>Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes. Ability to handle billing questions regarding copays, deductibles, and coordination of benefits and thorough understanding of insurance coverage with respect to third party contract agreements.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$19.04/hr - $22.85/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.</p>
