We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p> <p>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</p> <p>Short Description</p> <p>The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in NJ </li></ul>
