<p>Position: Custodian</p> <p>Hours: Full-Time (12-month)</p> <p>Afternoon Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience as a custodian preferred</p> </li><li> <p>General knowledge regarding the cleaning, upkeep, and basic maintenance of school buildings, facilities and grounds</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>Physical ability to perform the required work</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use/operate custodial equipment (i.e. brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, carpet extractors)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to physically manage bulky and/or unwieldy packages and supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, understand, and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and product and label information</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to take initiative to perform tasks independently</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow oral and written directions; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to function as a team member, work cooperatively with other staff members, and take instruction well</p> </li><li> <p>Current valid driver's license, no disqualifying citations</p> </li><li> <p>Meets all mandated health requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to pass BCI/FBI background checks and drug screen</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies</p> </li><li> <p>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate</p> </li></ol> <p>Compensation: Per Salary Schedule</p> <p>To apply, email a resume and references to John Zehentbauer, Superintendent at jobs@mahoningctc.com</p> <p>Questions can be directed to Joy Barnett at (330) 729-4002</p>
