<p>As a Barclays Business Analyst/Operations AVP, you will be a member of the global Research Operations team working on delivering AI assisted Research authoring and distribution platforms. This is an excellent opportunity in which you will ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and appropriately prioritized, test plans are comprehensive and fully executed, and the features of the systems are well understood by the Research analyst and production teams.</p> <p>To be successful as a Business Analyst/Operations AVP, you should have:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant experience of implementing publishing and/or content management platforms </li><li>Extensive experience of analysing business requirements and converting them to user stories that can be passed to the technology teams for testing </li><li>Comprehensive experience in testing applications to ensure that the functionality matches the business requirements </li><li>Proficiency in successfully integrating new applications, including user training and coaching </li><li>Knowledge of using Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems </li></ul> <p>Some other highly valued skills may include:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Financial Research as a business </li><li>Experience with implementing publishing systems based on Quark, Eidos or BlueMatrix </li><li>Proficiency in working in an agile development environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence </li><li>Understanding of metadata and information architecture design </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with skilled problem solving and decision making to make informed judgement, while recognizing when to escalate issues appropriately </li><li>Capable data analytical and reporting skills using Excel and Python </li></ul> <p>You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.</p> <p>This role is located in New York, NY.</p> <p>Minimum Salary: $105,000</p> <p>Maximum Salary: $130,000</p> <p>The minimum and maximum salary/ rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.</p> <p>Purpose of the role</p> <p>To facilitate high quality and consistent production of Barclays Research products, as well as the delivery of those products to Barclays Clients via the firms Research platforms and channels.</p> <p>Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Management and execution of the processes to facilitate the production and delivery of Research products to Clients . </li><li>Identification of changes to systems and processes to continually improve the delivery to our internal stakeholders and Clients . </li><li>To collaborate with Research Analysts, Management and other relevant stakeholders to help deliver seamless execution of processes, the resolution of issues, and to drive improvements to our processes and technology. </li><li>Adherence to the highest standards of risk management and controls; identify potential risks and help to develop strategies to mitigate those risks. </li></ul> <p>Assistant Vice President Expectations</p> <ul> <li>To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes. </li><li>Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues. </li><li>Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda. </li><li>Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done. </li><li>Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function. </li><li>Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy. </li><li>Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively. </li><li>Communicate complex information.
