If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As an Extruder Operator, you will perform tasks to produce Thermoplastic Polyurethanes on the production floor, as well as move materials and finished products throughout the facility. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all tasks safely observing Health, Safety and Environmental procedures. This Includes: </li><li>Abiding by plant and department PPE requirements. </li><li>Following plant safety procedures and cardinal rules. </li><li>Attending plant and department communication meetings. </li><li>Completing all Career Essentials training requirements on time. </li><li>Attending plant and department communication meetings. </li><li>Participating in safety reviews and the near miss scheme. </li><li>Understand the general concepts of ISO 9001; applicable quality standards. </li><li>Efficiently package and label finished product in timely manner. </li><li>Load trailers, complete paperwork and ship finished product without errors. </li><li>Enter production and create dispatch notes in SAP. </li><li>Understand how polymerization equipment works & monitor the performance of quality critical equipment. </li><li>Performing basic maintenance tasks and repairs associated with line operations. </li><li>Troubleshoot pelletization issues to maximize raw material efficiency. </li><li>Disassemble, clean and reassemble polymerization lines as required. </li><li>Complete daily housekeeping tasks. </li><li>Serve on the Facility Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Fire Brigade and participate in a minimum of 40 hours of annual mandatory training for at least the first 5 years of employment. </li><li>Identify non-conformances to ensure customer complaints are minimized. </li><li>Assist maintenance personnel when needed. </li></ul> <p>Skills That Make a Difference:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma from an accredited school or GED. </li><li>Candidates for this position must successfully pass assessment tests and be in good standing. </li><li>Ability to lift 55 lb. buckets, move 500 lb. barrels and drive a fork lift on a regular basis. </li><li>Ability and willingness to serve on the facility Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Fire Brigade and participate in a minimum of 40 hours of annual mandatory training for at least the first five years of employment. </li><li>Ability to be trained on SAP to a high- level of accuracy for data entry. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>During the training period this position may be placed on an 8- hour day schedule to perform packaging functions. </li><li>This packaging schedule will not be permanent but may be needed to fill product demand. </li><li>When EO training is commenced, a 12-hour rotating shift administered will be followed. </li></ul> <p>Ready for your next career step?
