<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspections on new gauges, couplings and Thread protectors to applicable standards and </li></ul> <p>practices.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate calibrations and minor repairs to all company gauges, hand tools and related inspection </li></ul> <p>equipment in accordance all company and National Standard requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Enter / coordinate gauge calibration into gauge tracking system, maintain recall program, gauge inventory, </li></ul> <p>and related equipment and movement records.</p> <ul> <li>Monitor the controlled conditions of the Gauge Labs and Coupling inspection and maintain all records </li><li>Conduct Non-Conformance (NCR) incident investigations, Quality Visits, Risk Assessments, and Internal </li></ul> <p>Audits as needed.</p> <ul> <li>Assist during Customer, ISO, and API audits and tours as needed </li><li>Perform Threading and Coupling Audits & Risk assessments as required. </li><li>Participate in inspection, Finishing, Threading, Coupling, and SLN audits as required </li><li>Perform incoming Coupling Inspection using applicable Thread Gauges. </li><li>Perform incoming Thread Protector Inspection using applicable Inspection criteria. </li><li>Perform inspection/sorting as required for any non-conforming product found. </li><li>Develop and write new or revised calibration and inspection procedures. </li><li>Follow and support the Integrated Management System, all Company Rules, Specifications, Policies and </li></ul> <p>procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain safe work environment by following all policies, standard and procedures. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a lab or inspection environment preferred. </li><li>Excellent mathematical skills. </li><li>Strong verbal, written and analytical skills. </li><li>Strong ability utilizing measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers and other precision </li></ul> <p>instruments.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate ability to develop and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures and work instruction </li></ul> <p>along with the ability to train others.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines. </li><li>Ability to use calculator, computer (Microsoft Office, Excel & calibration software), copier and fax </li></ul> <p>machine.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds. </li><li>Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. </li><li>Required to travel back and forth between locations using company vehicle to perform routine </li></ul> <p>calibrations at set intervals.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to access and reference API Specifications and the Integrated Management System. </li><li>Able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Mechanical and Electrical aptitude </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Associate Tech degree (preferred) </li></ul> <p>CRITICAL COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Directability </li><li>Teamwork </li><li>Adaptability </li><li>Accountability </li><li>Reliability/dependability </li><li>Initiative </li><li>Safety awareness </li><li>Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback </li><li>Pride in performance </li><li>Continuous Improvement/Quality </li><li>Communication </li><li>Positive responses to change </li><li>High attention to detail </li><li>Problem solving skills </li></ul>
