Tracks supplies and prepares paperwork. Keeps department clean and hazard free using tools and techniques, as well as issues and delivers inventory supply items.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Formal Education Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or GED </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training Required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instruction and perform basic mathematical functions </li><li>One year previous experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work well within a team environment; by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members; and by collaborating with patient care team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods, and/or reduce costs </li><li>Ability to coordinate communication information for personnel, physicians, and patients </li><li>Ability to work independently and solve problems without direct supervision </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with managers and staff in user areas (e.g., nursing staff, secretaries, nursing assistants, etc.) and Materials Management as well as external contacts </li><li>Ability to operate a hand held calculator for inventory purposes </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with customers (i.e., assigned nursing unit personnel, internal and external customers) </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts </li><li>Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity </li></ul> <p>Level of Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Very Heavy: Exerts in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects </li><li>Ability to stand/walk/drive for extended periods of time, frequent pushing, pulling, cleaning equipment and materials, loaded carts, furniture, and materials </li><li>Potential exposure to odors, body wastes, specimens, blood, etc. </li><li>Exposed to infection from disease-bearing specimens </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$15.30/hr - $18.57/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
