No</p> <p>County Warren</p> <p>Street Address Eagle Point Campground</p> <p>City Warrensburg</p> <p>StateNY</p> <p>Zip Code12885</p> <p>Duties Description Under the direction of permanent/seasonal staff, and the PRA6 supervising Eagle Point Campground, candidate must be willing to perform manual work, such as but not limited to: lifting garbage cans, using rakes and shovels, pushing lawnmowers and cleaning restroom/shower building within the facility.</p> <p>Candidate will have basic knowledge of a variety of semi-skilled trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, roofing and property maintenance. Must be even tempered, able to speak clearly when communicating with subordinate staff and the public - to include enforcement of Rules and Regulations. Candidate may also be required to work at Scaroon Manor Campground as needed, assisting the PRA6 who supervises that facility.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Preference may be given to candidates 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.</p> <p>Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 10/29/2025, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.</p> <p>Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.</p> <p>Must have a valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.</p> <p>Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain.</p> <p>Must be able to work in remote areas.</p> <p>Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.</p> <p>Overtime may be required.</p> <p>Weekends and holidays may be required.</p> <p>Must be available for emergency response.</p> <p>Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies.</p> <p>Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.</p> <p>The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
