Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.</p> <p>Your Job as a Certified Recovery Specialist:</p> <p>The Certified Recovery Specialist assists the care management team in providing a seamless continuum of care. They will maintain regular and constant communication with insurance companies, the finance department, treatment team members, patients and their families to increase quality and cost-effective outcomes. The Care Manager will assist patients in accessing medical, clinical, vocational and rehabilitative services as necessary.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain project logs, reports and records in appropriate files and database(s). </li><li>Provide recovery education to service recipients for every phase of the recovery journey frompre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization, and sustained recoverymaintenance. </li><li>Provide a model for both people in recovery and staff by demonstrating that recovery ispossible. </li><li>Assist recovering persons to identify their personal interests, goals, strengths and weaknessesregarding recovery. </li><li>Assist/coach recovering persons develop their own plan for advancing their recovery; for"getting the life they want." </li><li>Recovery Planning -- facilitate (via personal coaching) the transition from a professionallydirected service plan to a self-directed Recovery Plan. The goal should be to transition fromprofessionally assisted recovery initiation to personally directed, community supportedrecovery maintenance. </li><li>Promote self advocacy by assisting recovering persons to have their voices fully heard; theirneeds, goals and objectives established as the focal point of rehabilitation and clinical services. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; </li><li>Associate's degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field from an accredited college or university preferred </li><li>1-2 years of experience working in behavioral health or addiction recovery setting preferred. </li><li>Previous experience in case management and/or utilization review </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Recovery Specialist - CRS, OR </li><li>Peer Support Specialist - PSS, OR </li><li>Peer Recovery Specialist - PRS, OR </li><li>Certified Recovery Coach - CRC </li></ul> <p>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p> <p>#LI-CTC</p>
