<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Shop Foreman, CIM provides first line supervision of the daily operations of the manufacturing production floor.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Direct activities for the shop functions including daily resource allocations of manpower. </li><li>Ensure work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. </li><li>Monitor and review the progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met and any issues or delays are promptly addressed. </li><li>Enforce safety policies and procedures throughout the shop. </li><li>Ensure all equipment is in clean and safe working condition. </li><li>Train new employees in all departmental procedures including completion or paperwork, notification policies, and use of equipment. </li><li>Implement strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Travel is not required for this position.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED. </li><li>Experience with solid surface materials and applications, counter tops, enclosures, and wall panels, or experience in the building trades. </li><li>At least 5+ years' experience in a solid surface shop environment. </li><li>Must have technical skills to proficiently run shop equipment like table saw, routers, and skill saw. </li><li>Detail-oriented and capable of working on multiple tasks and deadlines. </li><li>Dependable with a positive attitude and commitment to success. </li><li>Must have effective communication skills, as well as excellent attendance and work principles. </li><li>BA/BS in related field, or additional specialized training equal to a master craft designation preferred. </li><li>Experience with plastic laminates and Solid Surface materials preferred. </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Corporate Interiors is a customer-focused organization specializing in workplace environments.
