<p>Job Goal: Summer programming at Capuano offers experiences for children with little to no prior preschool experience or who would benefit from summer programming as they transition to kindergarten.</p> <p>During Summer Explore, students learn readiness skills and make friends to support a smooth entry into kindergarten. They will have a daily routine that includes free breakfast and lunch, learning in literacy and math, time to play, and extra fun activities. Parents can also get involved in activities to help connect what students learn at home and school.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Early Childhood/Elementary and/or ESL/ELL license and relevant successful early childhood teaching experience. </li><li>Experience setting up a developmentally appropriate environment and planning rich curriculum experiences. </li><li>Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for young children. </li><li>Ability to support bilingual/multicultural communication with diverse students and families preferred. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals and service providers. </li><li>Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum. </li><li>Support children's social emotional, academic, and physical needs. </li><li>Build relationships with children that support learning. </li><li>Support an inclusive classroom environment for all children. </li><li>Participate in professional development before and during the program. </li><li>Participate in set-up day and clean-up of classrooms on the final day. </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment:</p> <p>Seasonal/Yearly Employment</p> <p>July 7, 2024 - August 1, 2024</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $35 per hour worked</p> <p>Location: MICHAEL E.
