<p>Pediatrics Schenectady is looking for a part time Medical Billing Specialist to join their team!This person will coordinate all aspects of in-office accounts receivable monitoring and follow-up to ensure accurate and timely payment of current and outstanding claims.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform check-in and check-out processes with patients including receiving of encounter forms, processing payments and balancing at end of shift. </li><li>Follow-up on account receivable payments and collection accounts. </li><li>Work in team with other Billing Specialists in office to monitor and collect on past due accounts, accurate coding of office visits, physician provider and diagnosis codes on encounter forms. </li><li>Work in team with other CBO Billing Specialists to assist in claim corrections for clean submission. </li><li>Maintain CCP user id/login information and proficiency for Payer websites. </li><li>Respond to inquiries from patients, CBO and payers. </li><li>Keep up to date and informed with participating insurance carriers according to the registration manual. </li><li>Must be aware of patient confidentiality and bring any concerns to the Site Manager. </li><li>Communicate any patient concerns or complaints to the Site Manager. </li><li>Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies. </li><li>Assist Site Manager with special projects regarding billing and receivables. </li><li>Assist in basic receptionist support when requested. </li><li>Assist check-in staff with higher level of insurance and insurance website knowledge. </li><li>Verify patient insurance coverage/demographic information at each visit and update when necessary. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this opportunity and have the desired qualifications, please Apply Now!</p> <p>Annual Salary Range- $17.00-$23.00</p> <p>Community Care Physicians offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurances, paid holidays, paid time off, retirement plan, and much more in a business casual environment!</p> <p>We welcome candidates who will bring diverse intellectual, gender and ethnic perspectives to Community Care Physicians.</p> <p>Community Care Physicians is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
