<p>Provide Instruction to Elementary students. Essential Functions: Demonstrate strong knowledge of content and instructional methods. Engage students actively in the learning process. Interact with students with respect and care, promoting a positive learning environment. Manage classroom procedures effectively, minimizing disruptions and maximizing instructional time. Exhibit an understanding of child development and adapt teaching accordingly. Communicate with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and needs. Develop and implement assessments aligned with learning standards. Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address academic or behavioral concerns. Provide guidance and counseling to students with academic or personal challenges. Uphold school policies and rules governing student behavior. Maintain accurate student records in compliance with laws and district policies. Work with other professionals to meet individual student needs. Plan and schedule lessons aligned with the approved curriculum. Prepare required reports on students and activities for administration. Select and utilize appropriate instructional resources. Assign tasks to teacher assistants, volunteers, or substitutes as necessary. Attend professional development and training to enhance skills and stay updated on educational practices. Reflect on teaching practices and make necessary improvements. Participate in staff meetings and committees as required. Administer standardized tests and interpret results to inform instruction. Collaborate with colleagues to review and improve the school's instructional programs. Manage classroom materials, including ordering and inventory. Sponsor or support extracurricular activities like clubs or academic contests. Perform supervisory duties such as assisting in the cafeteria, playground, or during arrival/dismissal times. Set rigorous, high-expectation goals for student learning. Understand individual student needs, including IEP and 504 plans, and provide appropriate accommodations. Respond effectively to student behavior. Provide consistent, constructive feedback to students. Maintain professionalism in all interactions with staff and students. Report any suspected child endangerment, neglect, or abuse to the proper authorities. Follow all district policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or their designee. Skills & Abilities: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field required. Experience: No prior experience necessary, though experience in teaching is preferred. Computer Skills: Proficiency with computers and related programs. Certifications & Licenses: Must hold a valid Arkansas teaching license for the assigned grade level/subject and meet qualifications under state and federal guidelines. Other Requirements: Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and appropriate personal and professional conduct around students, staff, and the public.</p>
