<p>Reports to: Lead Counselor and Principal</p> <p>Days: 210 day contract (7:00am-3:00pm *30 minute lunch)</p> <p>Pay: $15.56 per hour</p> <p>Location: High School</p> <p>Evaluated by: Annually by Lead Counselor and Principal</p> <p>JOB PURPOSE: Serve as secretary for Guidance Counselors. This includes working as the Receptionist/Registrar in the counseling office.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Process paperwork for all new students and withdrawals.</p> </li><li> <p>Request transcripts of credits, health records, and testing results for all new students.</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for maintenance of students' permanent records.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and enter data for current students such as grade changes, grade history maintenance, enrollments, withdrawals, and changes to demographic information.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep required guardianship papers on file.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain scholarship page for seniors. Distribute, collect, and process applications for scholarships.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and organize Senior Honors Night.</p> </li><li> <p>Help prepare and publish Honor Roll lists at the end of each grading period and semester.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and prepare all college and military branch visits.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and oversee job fair.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate enrollment records of student test numbers (STN) and live attendance numbers.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist counselors as needed.</p> </li></ol> <p>Interested candidates should apply online and email Steve Edwards by April 4th, 2025. sedwards@western.k12.in.us</p>
