<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital has an opening in the Pre-Admission Testing unit for a Nurse Practitioner!</p> <p>General Responsibilities</p> <p>The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for preparing adult patients for their admission and surgical experience. This includes their medical and anesthesia history, physical assessment, and the planning /evaluation of patient needs to facilitate efficient and safe pre-operative care.</p> <p>Education and Training:</p> <ul> <li>MSN required </li></ul> <p>Certification and Licensure:</p> <ul> <li>Current Pennsylvania state RN license required </li><li>Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License </li><li>Nurse Practitioner Certification </li><li>BCLS required </li><li>ACLS preferred </li><li>IV Certification preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong Physical Assessment Skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Strong Organizational skills </li><li>Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills </li><li>Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy. </li><li>Computer skills preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred </li><li>Prior clinical experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</p> <p>Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
