This position will support customer inquiries for order lead time and order configuration change. Responsible for new orders and order change, make sure requests can be successfully received by order system. Responsible for ensuring the right amount of product is available at the right time to meet customer demand.</p> <p>Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Collect and analyze data related to the supply chain to identify trends, patterns and/or areas for improvement. This includes inventory levels, production data, transportation costs, and delivery times. </li><li>Forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly. </li><li>Identify potential supply and demand issues and devise ways to minimize stock shortages. </li><li>Work closely with commercial and finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers. </li><li>Interact with sales, engineering and facilities operations on production schedules and expected deliverables. </li><li>Monitor the accuracy of inventory levels at warehouses to ensure supply meets demand. </li><li>Identify and report on inventory trends and slow-moving items. </li><li>Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. </li><li>Track and analyze supplier performance metrics. </li><li>Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to deliver materials per requirements. </li></ul> <p>Degree Requirement:</p> <ul> <li>Degree or equivalent experience desired </li></ul> <p>Highly desired</p> <ul> <li>ASCM CSCP, CPIM or similar certification </li><li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with demand planning software and tools such as QAD/Mfg Pro. </li><li>Background in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Procurement or similar discipline </li></ul> <p>Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes;
