<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Direct and manage daily production schedulers on operations schedule to meet and exceed customer expectations, production deadlines, and quality standards. </li><li>Coordinate the plant production schedule by working with all operational department leaders, customer service, sales, and leadership to ensure that total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in an efficient and quality manner. </li><li>Coordinates closely with customer service to ensure real time communication of schedule milestones and changes to allow efficient communication back to customers of any schedule changes. </li><li>Use overall plant performance to expected metrics as tool to monitor scheduling sequence improvement performance. </li><li>Investigate production issues as they arise; work with plant operations to develop and execute action plans for resolution. </li><li>Work with Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager to implement process improvement, methods improvement, and problem-solving activities to improve productivity and reduce cost (Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods to minimum levels) </li><li>Evaluate upgrade of systems, processes and equipment to meet the needs of plant scheduling. </li><li>Coordinate Billing & Logistics schedules to meet production output objectives, minimizing overtime, adhering to budgetary objectives </li><li>Build a B&L team of competent and dedicated people whose skills complement one another </li><li>Participate in the interviewing, hiring and training of new B&L team members </li><li>Maintain performance records on team members, routinely communicate performance to team members and coach team members on methods and techniques for improving performance </li><li>Act as a role model for all expectations (safety, attendance, productivity, error-free, etc.) </li><li>Participate in the monthly planning forecast based upon the monthly sales and operations planning for specialty and non-standard service production programs </li><li>Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation </li><li>Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service </li><li>May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency. </li><li>Perform other related duties as required </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>5-10 years of experience </li><li>Strong Excel skills </li><li>Understanding of OMS system and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills. </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership and personal organizational skills. </li><li>Possess strong interpersonal qualities in interacting with internal & external customers. </li><li>Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures. </li><li>Highly detail oriented. </li><li>Understand and comply with all Rohrer safety rules and regulations. </li><li>Problem solve with the ability to assess how to deal with orders that are wrong and how to correct the problem. </li><li>Capable of interacting with individuals at various levels of the organization. </li><li>Ability to successfully work with others in a team environment. </li><li>Strong willingness to interact and help others when necessary. </li><li>Excellent problem solving and judgment skills. </li><li>Capable of comfortably working in a fast paced environment </li><li>Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences. </li><li>Strong personable attributes and willingness to help others when needed. </li><li>Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems. </li><li>Demonstrate personal time management skills. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills required </li><li>Excellent planning and organization skills </li><li>Ability to work within all levels of the organization </li></ul>
