<p>Summer School PE/ Health Teacher</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Shall hold a valid Ohio Teaching License </li><li>Proper endorsements as required </li><li>Physical Education </li><li>Health </li></ul> <p>Reports To:</p> <ul> <li>Summer School Administrator </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and implement instruction aligned to the Ohio State Physical Education Standards </li><li>Enthusiastic about student health and wellness </li><li>Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, movement and other appropriate learning activities </li><li>Creates and fosters an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment </li><li>Provides maximum opportunities for participation of all students; differentiates as needed to ensure all students experience success </li><li>Monitors student progress toward mastery of instructional goals and objectives </li><li>Communicates effectively within the educational community and with parents on a regular basis </li><li>Meets professional responsibilities </li><li>Demonstrates a growth mindset individually and supports this development with students </li><li>Provides an atmosphere conducive to learning consistent with the school mission </li><li>Follows established discipline procedures </li><li>Establishes procedures and rules that enhance learning </li><li>Encourages students' attendance </li><li>Sets high positive expectations for student performance and participation </li><li>Collaborates with school team members in providing ideas and support to increase health and wellness, movement and activity within the classroom </li><li>Communicates with parent and provides feedback on student growth </li><li>Organizes teaching strategies to maximize allocated instructional time to increase student learning </li><li>Follows grading policies and regulations and maintains accurate and complete students' records </li><li>Follows confidentiality procedures regarding students, parents/ guardians, and fellow staff members </li><li>Adheres to established laws, policies, rules, and regulations </li><li>Performs assigned duties and is punctual with reports, grades, records and reporting to work </li></ul> <p>This list is representative of a teacher's duties/ responsibilities and may not contain all requirements</p> <p>Dates: 6/3/2025-6/26/2025</p> <p>Wage: $29.69 per hour</p>
