<p>PURPOSE</p> <ul> <li>Perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the machining of SMC products are followed </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Adherence to all department work instructions </li><li>Ensure the respective area is compliant with 5S standards </li><li>Process all necessary paperwork associated with established machining standards </li><li>Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems </li><li>Work from SMC blueprints for standard and modified parts and "X" options </li><li>Conduct basic preventative maintenance on machines </li><li>Basic knowledge of SMC raw material properties </li><li>Basic understanding of SMC products </li><li>Applies proper feed and speed rates for individual machines and materials </li><li>Work with "Go/No-Go" Gages, Micrometers, Calipers, Comparators, or other inspection tooling. </li><li>Conduct minor editing/modifications to programs for special "X" options </li><li>Quality control of parts to ensure dimensions within tolerances </li><li>Adherence to all safety rules </li><li>Basics knowledge of painting </li><li>Adherence to all quality assurance management system standards </li><li>Set up and Operate all CNC Lathes, Mills, Drills, and Barfed machines </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. </li><li>The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl.
