This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating social service initiatives that address the diverse needs of the community. The director will lead a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring that all services are delivered with compassion and professionalism. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families to create a supportive environment for residents. Ultimately, the Social Services Director aims to foster a culture of care that promotes dignity, respect, and well-being for all individuals served.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement social service programs that meet the needs of residents and their families. </li><li>Supervise and support a team of social workers and staff, providing guidance and training as needed. </li><li>Conduct assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of residents. </li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations to coordinate services and resources. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social service programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field. </li><li>Valid state licensure as a social worker. </li><li>A minimum of five years of experience in social services, with at least two years in a supervisory role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting. </li><li>Knowledge of local community resources and services. </li><li>Certification in gerontology or a related specialty. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include strong leadership and management abilities, which are essential for guiding a team of social workers and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
